    Our ranch is located in Herald, Calif  25 miles South of Sacramento.  We have been producing fine ponies for over 14 years.  These ponies have been bred for all disciplines and successfully compete at many levels.  Our goal is to breed a pony that can carry a child or small adult, while maintaining the critical communication needed to use leg and body aids in a size appropriate manner.  With our professional breeding program we have achieved these goals.  

  We currently stand three stallions that will pass on these traits to your mares and ours.   Magnum Ponies has a brood-mare base of Quarter Horse, American Paint Horse, AWR Sport Pony,  Pony of America, American Quarter Pony, Welsh and Arabian bloodlines.  Some of our mares have been rescued  and rehabilitated from their previous owners that felt they had no value.  With our breeding program we have proven that these mares have not lost their usefullness and will continue to be valuable assets. 

   At Magnum Ponies  we have a variety of ponies available at all times.   Our name Magnum Ponies is a play on the word that is both a decanter for the fine wines and champagnes that our ponies are named after and reminder that they are a thoughtful mixture of bloodlines that have created grandiose perfection.
